Lena Kleindienst, PhD candidate in MI-VascAD project P1 at the Institute of Experimental and Clinical Pharmacology and Toxicology, received a poster prize at the 6th International Symposium on Regulatory Autoantibodies (RAB Symposium), held at the University of Lübeck on 24 and 25 September 2026. Her doctoral work is supervised by PD Dr. Jan Wenzel and PD Dr. Helge Müller-Fielitz.
Her poster, "Effects of angiotensin II type 1 receptor-targeting autoantibodies on brain endothelial cells", addresses a central question of project P1: how autoantibodies against the AT1 receptor act on the endothelial cells lining the blood vessels of the brain.
The prize was awarded by CellTrend GmbH and the “Verein für biomedizinische Forschung Duska Dragun e.V.”.
As the MI-VascAD consortium, we are proud that Lena's work has been recognised in this way.
Congratulations!
